Dubai Sports City (DSC) today announced the launch of an Audioboo channel which will allow anyone with access to the internet the chance to listen to interviews and press conference audio from this season's cricket action. The channel on the audio-sharing website will contain interviews and media conference audio from all matches played at DSC, as well as other selected material during Pakistan's series against Sri Lanka and England.

The free service can be accessed by visiting w//w.audioboo.fm and then typing DSC or Dubai Sports City into the search engine in the top right-hand corner of the Audioboo homepage.

The channel already has material from Pakistan captain Misbah-ul-Haq and from Sri Lanka captain Tillakaratne Dilshan, former captain Mahela Jayawardena and coach Geoff Marsh.

The audio is also available for media around the world to enhance their coverage of the Mobilink Jazz Cup presented by Bank Alfalah.

The use of the Audioboo channel by DSC follows on from its introduction of a Twitter feed - @DxbSportsCity - and its continuing presence on Facebook at Dubai Sports City Events.

Both the Twitter feed and Facebook page contain the latest news and photos from the cricket action at DSC as well as information on matches at the venue and links to audio as well as competitions to win prizes, including tickets to the forthcoming One-Day Internationals (ODIs) at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.

Commenting on the launch of the Audioboo channel, General Manager Sports Business Macky Dudhia said: "We are delighted to announce our launch of an Audioboo channel which adds a new dimension to what we are doing here at Dubai Sports City.

"The Audioboo channel means supporters and the media can hear directly from players and officials in the lead-up to and also after every day's play of all international matches at Dubai Sports City throughout what should be a thrilling next few months of cricket action.

"The Audioboo service, together with our Twitter feed @DXBSportsCity and our continuing use of our Facebook page Dubai Sports City Events, is all part of our commitment to give the public and the media as many ways as possible to get close to the matches at DSC.

"We are looking forward to some thrilling cricket over the next few months as we host Pakistan, Sri Lanka and England as well as matches in the ICC World Twenty20 Qualifier and cannot wait for it all to start with our first match of the season, next week's second Test between Pakistan and Sri Lanka which begins on Wednesday 26 October."

That Test is the start of 34 days of international action over the next six months as Dubai Sports City gears up for its biggest season of cricket since the Dubai International Cricket Stadium opened in 2009.

The venue will host the first three ODIs in the Pakistan - Sri Lanka series on 11, 14 and 18 November. All those matches are day-night games and the first and last of them take place on Fridays.

Dubai International Cricket Stadium sees Pakistan play Sri Lanka in one Test and three ODIs in October and November before England arrives to face Pakistan in two Tests, two ODIs and two T20Is in January and February 2012. Then, in March, the Dubai International Cricket Stadium will host matches in the ICC World Twenty20 Qualifier.
