do i click recieve files from dreambox first then
send files to dreambox ?
i keep getting removed services for channel 5 and stuff

been at this for 2 hours trying to update channel list
Important that you update your DBedit to a newer version if ure running newer IMG.

Many ppl went stuck on ver 3.0
First you make a folder where to put your FTP files..
Backup or whatever,,
Take a copy of that folder to another one..So ure sure that u dont mess them up.
Close then Dbedt.
Reopen it go..then your empty
.. go then to file - open and browse to your folder where the Backup is.. sat.xml -boquets.list etc.
Then you will have your list...
Move your channels how u want and then click the save button on top. The diskette. Then you will save your satlist to the PC-Folder.
After finishing editing list, go to options put in your DBox IP. User password..
Standard. root- dreambox (recommend to change in telnet) or dcc..
Then go to FTP section - File FTP - Send files to Dreambox-
REMEMBER if you have enigma1, in options (tools/options) under user/ password. choose sat.reciver. If ure running enigma 2 - choose enigma 2 there.
After u have sent the files over ftp.
Reload button if ure Enigma 1
REstart engima2 if ure newer IMG. F.ex enigma 2
U can also reboot GUI/enigma 2 over telnet
killall -9 enigma2
