Dreambox 800 Freezing

My Dreambox 800 is freezing, as it's overheating, so i've decided to buy a fan. Can someone please recommend me a good fan/cooler for the DB 800 please?


Is it better to put the fan on top of the DB 800, or should I put it the under the box?

Hi mate

I put the fan above the box drawing air out. I have also used a 50mm fan internally pushing air out.

hello I installed a small fan on the processor at the head and is connected into the main power is the only flaw in it with no in stand-by

I put a base for laptops, and works fine very fresh is the dm800, working with HD channels.

i have install it with an usb cable like the picture, but i cant find it in mein hdd menue or in devicemanager. and in standby, the fan dont stop. thats bad.
does someone had another idea, that the fan stops in standby?

Can not be done on 800 mate you could put a external switch in line and manually turn it off .
