dreambox 7020si and cam module

I recentlybought Polsat CAM Module. When I insert the module to the box the picture starts to freez, even on FTA channels. When I pull back the module everything starts to be ok. Is it true, that dm7020si dont work with cam modules? Is there no solution for that problem?

Hi mate

Dreamboxes are notorious for have compatibility issues with hard ware cams. Not sure if the Polsat cam is one of these.

Have you tried resetting the ci module from the CI interface menu?

something strange happens.many friends had problems with the same receiver and many cams.personal,never had any problem with oozoon image in flash (and gemini 4.5 a few months before) using a purple irdeto cam and an ultimate dual cam.

Onother words, the only option is to get box key and others from CAM module, to make dm7020 to work with Polsat card. Am I right?

You need the box key then you could read the card in newcs.
