Dreambox 500s CLONE - Black Screen

Hello , my dreambox has a problem . I can ftp/telnet but i can't see any image , my tv says no signal... Tried to reflash with nabilo darkstar II and pli jade , flashed with erase.img nothing works... tried another power supply....

the led is green when i turn it on , and red when i turn it off , as normal

try to install the image with DreamUP v1.2.2.0 as clone boxes work well with this version .

you can try without dreamup

copy *.img file to /tmp rename the file to backup.img

telnet to your box and enter

"cd /tmp && eraseall /dev/mtd/3 && cp backup.img /dev/mtd/3 && reboot"

Box will reboot with new image

if your last image installed on box maxvar then with this method you must use also maxvar .....

you can try this method:

Rename the "yourimage.img" to "root.cramfs and copy via FTP to /tmp. Then reboot and start update manually via settings menu , if this method dont work than you must open your box to see is your capacitor inflated ....

Do you mean that box seems ok, ie, you can connect to it, flash image, green light for on and red light for standby etc, but TV says there is no signal? I had a similar problem and it was down to connection. The DM500 (original) would not display image on tv via scart, but only through the component connection. After getting it set up and selecting connection type etc it worked with scart connection fine. (ok with scart now when i change images)
I thought i would just mention this as it could help.
