Dream Elite and softcam keys

can softcam keys be used with DE images if so what would i have to do to get them working

open Dreambox Control Center [ DCC v.296 ] on your PC .
make sure Network OK message showing if not find your dreambox IP in menu>setup>Network>adapter settings and input it under pic of dreambox on DCC then click Reconnect TaB now Network OK msg should show ?

next Click FTP TaB on DCC then D/click Var folder on left side and D/click on Keys folder aswell ,
then look for Desktop on right side window and your extracted keys folder on Desktop .. you can find the latest keys here > http://www.sat-universe.com/showthread.php?t=180521&page=28
extract all to desktop ..
then highlight keys folder on Desktop Right side window double click it and highlight all inside then click bottom green arrow to send those keys inside dreambox key folder on left side window , restart CCcam if required .

One litlle correction: as he said DE image, I supose he`s using a E2 receiver, so the keys are in usr/keys, not in var/keys.

i have tried both ways var\etc and usr\etc none seem to work for me,what software do i need on my dreambox,see if i am missing something

It seems nobody tell you var or usr/etc...

We have told usr/keys, not etc.... And if you haven`t a folder "keys" you have to create it...:thum:

could tell me in the folder usr\keys do i put just the keys or the softcam file

Download last Minicat`s key bundle and you`ll find "mgcamd" and the two folders "AutoRoll.key" and "SoftCam.key", send both to usr/keys and restart cam.
