@Gunner2023 What do you mean by "heavy duty polar mount for the Raven (Andrews / Channel Master) 1.2m dish?"?
As far as I know there were only one version of polar mount made by Channel Master which was designed for CM antennas 0.9m-1m-1.2m. That was heavy-duty enough originally. Just google "polarmount channel master 120" and you will get lots of pictures.

I can confirm the 1,2 m polar mount is so "heavy" that a part of it is still part of my custom made polarmount for my laminas 180 cm.

The black part is the original CM polarmount,

Bye

yours looks nothing like the one on SSS!!

@RimaNTSS i mean this one: https://www.satellitesuperstore.com/satellite_diseqc_motors_36_volt_motors.htm#36vhtoh ("Primesat heavy duty polar mount for the Raven (Andrews / Channel Master) 90cm, 1.0m and 1.2m dishes.")

i have seen all the pics on SSS website!, i just want to see what this polar mount looks like on a 1.2m CM Dish!

Not sure why they show pics of that mount on a 1.8m Dish when it states clearly its Designed for the 1.2m Raven dish

To me looks like way overkill for a 1.2m CM Dish and something that could only work with a 1.8m dish .

Here is my original CM Polar mount on my original CM 1.2M Dish
its a little rusty but i have not had any issues with it and continues to work perfectly .
Hopefully that might help its not the best picture ever but best i could do at such short notice : )

i have a spare when i get free time i'll take some pictures .
it's a very big price for just a polar mount when i got mine i had a 2nd CM polar mount given to me for free
i'm quite sure a good welder and mechanic could make up as good or better mount that that one for half the money : )

ok cool, so the mount that i have currently (that came with my 1.2m cm dish) is this one (see pics (pics from someones listing on ebay [not that im selling it]))

i have already added it to my dish and on my pole, at the min its to windy to get it aligned so will do it when its not so windy, but the reason i want a polar mount like the one on SSS is so i can track the arc without any issues, i know its expensive but its decent, every search i have done for that mount is all of SSS and primesats pics not proper public peoples pics hence why im asking here incase someone here has the exact same mount as that :)

That looks like a standard Channel Master fixed dish mount, obviously no use for tracking the arc.

As an alternative to a polar mount, have you considered a 36V H-H motor such as a Jaeger 1224.
These motors are renowned as excellent motors for a CM 1.2m dish, they even came shipped with an adapter plate that the CM 1.2m dish bolted directly onto.
They are no longer in production but can be found 2nd hand and they last a long time. I have one 'ere with a 1.5m dish on it for over 20 years and it still works perfectly.

The advantage of an H-H motor is that you can get a wider arc than is normally available on a polar mount and there is no actuator flop at the extremes of the arc.
Having said that re actuator flop, a CM 1.2m dish is a small light dish and any half decent actuator should be able to pull it back from arc extremes.

well yes it is a standard CM Fixed dish mount! im just using for testing purposes at the min i dont have any signal :( but hopefully when its not windy i will be able to realign it!

yes i have one its rubbish! hence looking at polar mounts
