DM800se Fan is not working

I've just bought a new DM800se clone, but the fan is not working.

I'm running on ramiMAHER-v19-dm800se-9-20-2011 image and also installed Fan control 2 plugin.

I get also a message on my screen saying fan not working.

Does anybody have also this problem?

Hi i had the same problem ,get you a normal 12v pc case fan and place it on the COVER OF THE DM800 let it blow cool air in (arrow facing down)connect it to the usb or any 12v source :thum:works like a bomb

Can I just buy another fan and connect it to the same 12v 4 pin input? Is a 3 pin fan also working on this 4 pin input?

Just incase this is a issue with the fan control plugin try another image before writing it off. Or test the fan in your PC.
