DM800SE A8P OpenPli 4.0 - how to backup?

Hello!
My dreambox is a clone DM800SE A8P enigma2 - OpenPli 4.0

I would like to ask how you guys take .nfi backup?

I have tried tspanel but the backup was to big 72MB!! Memory only 60mb.

i also get the same problem trying to backup mine with an A8P sim i have tried many versions of that backup plugin but have'nt had any luck

I see, so its not only me that has this problem.

What about if we can find a terminal-command that makes a nfi backup?

That should be possible.

(Btw, big misstake to buy A8P when we could use SIM 2.1 i think)

Not really you can still use original and upto date everything on the A8P you can not on Sim2

I think i should choose Sim 2.1 if we cant find a solution for this.

Not the fault of the sim ! But a fault with dflash or versions of it.

Sim2 openpli4 backup by insprial was released and on flashing was reported as to big.

Not the sim at all try other version of dflash I can not specify but openpli backups for a8p appear on the forum a lot maybe read the readme with the backups to see what version of backup plugin they use.

You can always put your sim2 sim back in as you seem confident you can make a backup with that.

yes in this case , u would also see that i used Dflash10.1 & been installed to my openpli4 & made a good backup , check link of my openpli4 backup in my signature & have a look to signature picture too

I am also having backup problems right now, dont know why. ;(

After backup is finished the .nfi file size is only 0-153 bytes.

Reinstall didnt help. =(

Try use dflash v 11.0 it worked great for me !

I think we need to find a way making backup from telnet.
Becouse dflash stops working sometimes.

Please write if you know how to make backup from telnet!

hmmmmmmmmmmm

i dont know why but, it worked for me now with v 11.3.

I think the problem can be that somehow the backup fails if you have many old backups in same backupfolder??

Solution:
1. Remove all old backups in same backup-folder when making a new backup.
2. Remove and Type in the backup-catalog one more time. for example /media/USB/
when running dflash.

Not need update, version 10.1 works fine
