Dm800se 2nd Failed ?

Good Morning all,
I started messing with my images this morning and I seem to have made a mess of tings.
I was running Ozzoone in the flash with a number of other images on Barry Allen USB. I had just finished updating the software on the Usb Dream Elite image. I then decided to boot from flash (Ozzoone)and now I have a problem.
The led display on the box is saying Dreambox (then in red) 2nd Failed?. It shows a picture of a processor with an x through it beside a usb stick.
I then decided to try to reflash the box but it will not let me.Re-tried with the usb unplugged, same thing.
Any Ideas?

this is under 8000 chat yet states its an 800se, if it is an 800se i would reflash it,if a clone download sunray dreamup

Yes I posted it in the wrong section(panic), perhaps the moderator will move it.
It is a DM800se and not a clone.
I have connected to the box by usb and Dream up. I have tried reflashing using the latest Ozzoone image but it failed,
10:04:39 Uploading file to box...
10:15:04 box is flashing from its memory...
10:15:06 Flashing failed (!!! 005 too much data (or bad sectors) in partition 1 (end: 00040000, pos: 00040000)), box will be unusable now!!

I am not trying the latest Icvs.

No luck, I have tried reflashing twice with no joy.

Can anyone help.

Try re-flashing with network cable....first boot box to bootloader (keep'on'button pressed until box gives you its own I.P. add which you then insert in your browser)then flash new Image.

Hi mate

You have a bad sector this need to be repaired before you can flash it.

You'll need a null modem cable, start sunray flashup and on the task bar choose extra and then repair bad sectors.

Let this complete then reflash a compatible image.

It is a DM-Se so I downloaded VPC Driver for usb and connected to the laptop via usb.
I am currently running the Sunray and I have the following message:
16:24:26 box type: DM800SE
16:24:26 Enabled recovery of bad sectors

Do you know how long the process should take?

At present I have the following message on the Dreambox-
ERR1: No Ca found.

I have a feeling nothing is happening.

Got it,
I then realised I had to continue and flash the box. Did so and it repaired the bad sectors in the process.
I have also deleted on Barry allen the image I had updated that seemed to have caused the problem.

Well if it went on to flash the image with Dreamup that would take about a hour !

according to "flash up" the image is uploaded just fine, but then "flash up" says that the box is flashing from memory but nothing seem to happen.
The box just keeps displaying the ip number and "serial mode", and the progress bar in "flash up" stays blank. I've waited about 20 minutes after the upload and nothing has changed.
Any idea what should I do?

Try the ip in another browser for flashing.

when trying to use a browser, i get the bad sector warning and it doesnt flash.

im doing it straight from sunray flashup using bad sector repair, but nothing seem to happen

there should be a tick setting in sunray settings thatll recover bad sectors

Dear Sirs,
I want to make a topic about my original dreambox 800 hd se v2.
It had a problem at the screen as no ca found because of a wrong image sending.I tried to use your dream up 1.3.3.11 which was sucessful. I send secondstage-dm800sev2-88 or I send original many images from explorer while dream up gives ip numbers on the screen. BUT I HAD A PROBLEM as 2nd FAILED on the screen whatever I did I could not sort that problem.. Pls help me about original dreambox 800hd se v2
