Hi all
I just bought an dm800hd clone from a friend while waiting for condenser for my vu+ duo.
I have tested some images for the dm800 but they are soo slow. are all oe2 images like that ? peter pan 3 aurora seemed to be very fast one but many crashes made me change to other images.
Im looking for fast and stable image for only tv viewing. all other plugins are not so important.

OE2.0 really does bog down the 800hd and to some extent even the 800se.

Go back to oe1.6 if you want reasonable performance.

Peter Pan is by far the slowest
Try openpli 3 ssl84D, very fast, :D

Tested the openpli-3.0-beta-dm800-20131215-sim2-ssl84d.nfi image and i cant say it was fast, very buggy edition.
Guess i have to find a older version, sometimes openpli comes with some horrible dayly edition. :) even todays version can be almost 100% better. :)
I also tested the newnigma2-stable-dm800-v4.0.6-Jasper-2013-12-14.nfi edition. Stable as long as you stay on only 1 channel or in menus. so out with it..

I guess i have to do as Ferret say, go for an 1.6 version..

Tried to flash orginal peter pan 2.3 but got an hardware warning as this box is a clone.. any patching i can do ? I have not worked with dm800 boxes for over a year so i am outdated.. :)

I have been trying images for the DM800 clone for some weeks now. There are only 2 that I have had success with.
Merlin-3-dm800-02-16-ramiMAHER-e3
Dream-Elite-BlackHole-DM800-2012-06-16-Sim2-SSL-84b

The following either don't flash or fail on one of the most basic plugins.
Dream Mulimedia dm800 3.2.4
Nabilosat Black Hole v012
NemesisdmSVN-107rramiMAHER
openpli-2.1-beta-dm800-20130317-sim2-ssl84b-dOOds-Backup
