dm800 strange problem

hi to all
happy new year to all

my problem i have a dm800 clone boot 72
box work ok never problems
have had nabilo hyperspace on it bud sinds a few weeks i whanted to put the clone elswhere in my home........
than i have seen that there is somthing wrong
i wil not get nowhere ip other than the living room where the box was strange

have flash many images nothing only in the living.............
my setup router in my office and a gigaswitch in the living connected to a cable.
thru the giga switch works fine
direck in the router nothing ........can happen

have 7 more routers have try all nothing and stil also other images al there is for my clone nothing

go to the shop and got my self a other gigaswith it works nice tru the same router first one
other brandname nop wil not work
have try other bootloader nothing
my mac start with the same as original
so have flash with GP2 clone working fine no problem bud stil no fix for my ip problem.
manual also dont work.
still wanted to beat the box have try usb wifi gues what nothing try digrent nop clone dont see the wifi stick
4gb stick nothing al difrents nothing dont even flash to let me now its working
lets me feel somthing is broke on the box bud wy does it only work on one switch
PLEASE HELP IF SOMEONE HAS SAME PROBLEMS OR CAN HELP ME FIX THIS

So to confirm your 800 works on the old and new switch as long as your 800 is connected to your switch via a cable in the same room?

How far is the 800 away from the switch in the other room?

Now the cable you use to the other room is it faulty ? Could it be a cross over cable and your switch is not auto sensing?

Just some ideas mate !

in the living my cable to the dream is 1meter and switch to the main router is 25 meters works fine

when i test the dm in my office directly frome dream to router 1meter cable
i get no ip

Very hard to pinpoint your problem mate you state you have 7 router ??

Try swapping the router in your office with one of the others you have.

Disconnect your switch too well you test, go into your router setup pages and ensure your router is SET to DHCP or it wont give your 800 a IP.

You could also try giving you 800 a Manual IP with the your router IP range.
