dm800 signal keeps dropping on astra28E

strange, I noticed the signal 28e channels, keeps dropping to zero, then come back to normal 75%, without any weather condition, this does not with any other of 3 lnb installed for hotbird, arabsat or astra19.

any idea????

Could be a number of thing mate.

Faulty switch, LNB or tuner. You will have to test one at a time.

Also could be the power pack.I had loss of signal on the vertical channels and I swapped over the power leads from one of my dm and that cured it.

AGC = Auto Gain Control
SNR = Signal Noise Ratio

COZ I noticed when I connected new LNB to cable, and even before mounting it on dish, AGC was nearly 99%... I thought was good news but what does this mean?
