Original DM800 (not clone)
Devicename: dm800
Enigma Version: 2011-09-13-experimental
Image Version: Experimental 2011-09-06
Frontprozessor Version: VNone
Webinterface Version: 1.6.8
Tuners
Tuner A: Alps BSBE2 (DVB-S2)
Worked fine for many years, but now (without changing anything) if I use internal HDD as a video source for more than 10 minutes or turn off receiver for the same time (so dont use DVB tuner) it could not tune to HD channels (Tune Failed) when turned back on. SD channels work fine. After 5 minutes from turning on it tunes to HD, but picture freezes from time to time, but after 10 minutes it starts working fine.
So, the conclusion is that the failure is temperature dependent.
1) Tried to turn off HDD power cable - no difference.
2) Measured the input voltage - 11.99v all the time.
What could be the reason? Bad soldering on the tuner board or capacitors on the main board need replacement? They look undamaged (on the surface).
