Could be the firewall but id try other browsers too.

IE is usually the best for browser flashing.

Well it looks like a outgoing connection fault could be something in the router.

Same problem here

http://www.sat-universe.com/showthread.php?t=253356

guess it was my firewall, used old computer flashed first time.

god i feel like such a newb,

normally i used vhannible motor for bouquets,

guess im doing something wrong again lol

dreamboxedit log:

Transfer complete
** Sending file "/etc/tuxbox/satellites.xml" **
Starting FTP transfer
Transfer complete
** Getting directory list /etc/enigma2/lamedb **
Starting FTP transfer
Transfer complete

but no channels (facepalm)

something to do with paths i guess

If you had something like the TSpanel on you could download them.

Looks like DBE is not sending the reload command, you could after sending just pull the power and setting should load, if not check the dbe setup and make sure the reload command is enabled.

was going well lol, got boquests on etc

then spent some time get it to setup internal hd it failed each,

so i seen in another thread that OpenPli was great,

so i get image for dm800 here

http://openpli.org/download/

image rights to my box ok, completes fully says will reboot.

now have "error no CA"

so i find the solution

Solution:
1) Use DreamUp 1.3.3 with serial (null modem) cable
2) Choose COM1, connect, power ON DM800 and wait
3) After a few seconds the DM800 screen will come back with an IP address
4) Type in that address in IE
5) Flash first a BootLoader (ex: bl76.nfi) reboot DM800 and hold power button
7) Wait for IP to appear on DM800 screen
8)Type in that address in IE
9) Flash your desired image

have dream up but need loader bootloader 76c

can anyone help

thanks :)

Yeah as you found out that is not a clone image.

Here is 76c

http://www.sat-universe.com/showpost.php?p=664871&postcount=4

But you could use later bootloader but maybe stick with what you know to get back uo and running.

still trying to fix lol

downloaded dream up from dream website

ver v1.3.3.4

using usb to rs232 dongle and rs232 cable to box

Click connect in dream up power box

fully uploads flash loader.

"update complete, wiating for acknowledgement.

but at this stage dream box switches back to error no ca on dislpay again.

is it possible the version of dreamup is not for clone?

thanks again for the help.

kit im using

usb to r3232 adaptor, rs232 cable,

first method:

click connect power dm800 - upload flash loader completes.

dreamup Status: "box is in networked HTTP mode"

front of DM800 shows ip:

"192.168.1.18"

" *** SERIAL MODE *** "

Then i click flash selct ssl76C file

Then dreamup status sticks at:

"Calculating checksum"

the only thing is dont have any computers kicking around
any more with rs232 port, i guess the usb to rs232 adaptor is the
problem.

tried entering ip in browser but doesnt load,

Don't use the 76c mate there is more than that to patching images.

Use a patched image from the thread I linked to .

When the HTTP mode ip shows I just then use browser flashing as normal.

Like I say use a prepatched image.

thanks mate, tried that in browser, must be because its not rs232 to rs232.
