DM800 HD Se not booting up

My DM800 HD Se showed a green screen with some text scripts. One of the section showed "Softeare Error".

I switch off the box and then switched it on again hoping it would boot up as normal.

Now, the box does not even reach the Boot up screen. The blue light keeps blinking.

Does anyone has any solution?

Do I need to reimage the software?

It looks like you need to reflash the box with another image.
But before that you can try deleting anything that you may have loaded into it that caused the problem.
If so, you can delete the file using DCC - Tools - packages.​

If the box wont reach the boot screen i doubt you be able to use dcc but you can try it.

As Bm300 says youll need to reflash to get it up and running again.

When you mean reflash, do you mean using something like Sunray to reflash the backup flash file into the Dreambox?

yes mate or use your web browser,turn off and back on and hold in the front power button,you will see STOP and an ip on the led screen put that ip into your browser and choose firmware upgrade

I flashed the box with the backup image using Sunray.
The box is working fine again.

Phew!! am I glad I did a backup of the image.
