Now.. this is the 1st time i have seen this..

My father in law has a DM800 in living room and a wee 500 in bedroom.

He got up this morning and none of the 2 boxes were working.. FTA only..

All network tests are coming up with 5 green ticks.. on both stb`s.. and able to download plugins from respective servers..

I have restarted stb`s.. Restarted routers.. Changed routers.. swapped routers.. but still no joy at all.. Still only FTA.. and no prem channels on both boxes.. I even took an old 500 from my daughter bedroom in daily use.. but still no joy

Can anyone help me out on this one please.. ??

Thanks

Maybe its who hes connected to that has the problem, your network test is OK but that does not mean the port CCcam uses is able to get out check router settings.

The server is fine as others are able to connect with no problems.
Surely if hes only a client he does not need to open a port on router. ?

Thanks

Well on most routers no. What does CCcam info tell you ? Either your not getting out on the port your using or you connection is not been accepted at the other end.

Reinstall CCcam and use a new cfg they can become corrupt but on 2 boxes i doubt it

The router is a BT home hub2..
CCCam info shows connected to server (showing green) but sharing 0 cards on both boxes..
I have reflashed both boxes.. but still the same..

Just an idea,
Since only FTA channels are OK, and your computers can easily connect to the Internet.

It may be a port change or blockage on the receivers.
Try getting another port from your service provider.

Another point,
In some areas in the Middle East only certain versions of CCcam works. The newer ones are blocked by the Internet service provider in their effort to combat piracy.
Check that the same thing has not happened where you live.
