Hi,
Has anyone any suggestions with this problem.

Arrived home this evening turned on box and it was not responding so I decided to re-flash it.
Decided to try the latest persianempire-full-rc4.r121, flashed in the normal way with the web browser, loaded 100% and re-booted
then nothing.
Front panel showing: Dreambox, Powered by Dream Multimedia
Now it seems frozen, will not allow me to re-flash it, does not respond to Dreamup. If I disconnect the power reboot no difference.

Any Ideas?
Thanks

Have you tried service cable and Ethernet cable with dreamup in HTTP network mode ?

Tried service cable with dream up and it didn't seem to respond, I haven't tried Dreamup with Ethernet.
I will try it tomorrow.

Tried Dreamup via Ethernet and nothing.
Just a dead box by the look of it. I assume it will have to go back to Dream Multimedia.

Remove USB stick , and disconnect HardDiskDrive ( if installed ) and try again.

Btw... Is your Bootloader Up to date ?

Use the newest version of DreamUP and a USB-MiniUSB cable.
www.dream-multimedia-tv.de/download/DreamUP133_11.zip
You need to install the USB->UART driver to your computer.
http://www.silabs.com/products/mcu/Pages/USBtoUARTBridgeVCPDrivers.aspx

Follow this guide:
http://www.dream-multimedia-tv.de/en/dm7020hd-flashing-dreamup

Maybe it could help to push "EXTRA" in DreamUp, and select "recover bad sectors".

Flash it with one of the original images from DMM.
When you get it too boot, you can flash it with a third party image.
