dm500s no service searching

hi all help me please, at setup menu i loose service searching,now i can't watching channel.thanks.

The tuner is wrong

There are many things which can be wrong. Tuner is usually last thing that goes wrong. I would check lnb, diseq switch, see if dish is postioned correctly etc before you think that dreambox tuner is wrong

can be damaged.

Look at this picture and find the transistor marked red. Here is another picture2 showing Q72.

You'll get it for almost nothing at Digi-Key or others.

I replaced the transistor, worked for a while on some channels and then same problem again. Any ideas please?

at the end of replacing this kind of transistor I have lost searching too. My problem is low signal. I have good 8ft fiber dish.

Same time you have the same problem with the tuner of your DM500 and the only thing you have to replace the power supply of the dreambox
