DM500 Image Help

Hi,
I need help. I mistakenly put the wrong image in /tmp and did a manual update. The DM500 is now dead. How can I repair this??.
Any help or links please.

it sounds like you have over loaded your var folder.

what did you actually install to temp was it an emu or definatly an image.

will your unit boot, if it does any error messages.

You will need a null modem cable and dreamup to reflash the unit.

I found out to late that it was a back up image. The DM500 stopped at about 80% and since then nothing.

so you will need a null modem cable and dreamup software and reflash the unit and hope it works, it should do.

Thanks stillabrummie. Connected with nullmodem via dreamup and that fixed it.

zero image

Can be an good idea to also clean up the memory with a "zero" image. Can be downloaded in almost every DM sites..

when the box is flashed with dreamup it will be intialized
no need to clean anymore
