Different between ro and r1

I find some files in web update there some file that deferrent r0,r1,r2 etc
for example: autofs-dbg_4.1.4-r0_mipsel.ipk
autofs-dbg_4.1.4-r1_mipsel.ipk
autofs-dbg_4.1.4-r2_mipsel.ipk
what does it mean r0,r1, r2 in magenta colour?

The colour just highlights the version

I assume the higher the number the later and more developed the plugin is.
