Diablo ligth rev.2.3

I have two diablo ligth and they have always worked - but I must have done something wrong last time, because there will be no response from cammet - no matter what I try with my Cas Interface 3 + I get this message: no cam inserted-fail and many other answers.

I think I have reset it all - I have long since written to DUOLABS, but never received any response - so now I'm trying here - perhaps there is a wise head in here that can
solve my problem and get my Diablo Cams working again.

The latest Underworld .dup file compatible with your CAM light v2.3 is the UW v.216,
DO NOT try loading any newer version.

Instructions to repair a 2.2/2.3 at Diablo [timeout / format error]


Helps in most cases, if a Diablo Light 2.2/2.3 can not be formatted (error message).

Because the manual is not really found by the users, I make time to this thread.

So, some users are attempts to Underworld-soft to flash from 2.20 and thus broken their beloved Diablo Light 2.2/2.3 / unusable.
Here is ne instructions:

1) All versions of CAS Studio uninstall on the PC.

2) The following files (if not already)

=> CAS Studio 8.4

=> DIABLO DIABLO 1:52 original backup software HW Rev. 2.2

[COLOR="Red"]=> Diablo_Rev_2.3 original backup[/COLOR]

=> Diablo original firmware 1.2 for HW Rev. 2.2

=> Diablo 160 original firmware for the HW Rev. 2.3

3) CAS studio set zb 8.4 install and the date on the PC to 2008. 01.06.2008
Any error messages at the end of the installation are not bad, because it's still all.

4) CAS Studio then (without Diablo therein) start to the desired language then normally select the "Cam Module" the Diablo.

5 Now) to "CAM disc functions" => "Restore Backup", then the message is there with "Yes" and select the backup file.

6) Now there is "Waiting for start .." only now the Diablo pushed into the CAS!
Now the backup flashed

7) Now format and the security (or may not have) the original flash Diablo Light Soft

DONE

Now you can re-format and flash with a / the current max the UW 2.16
