dead transponders

Hello most of my transponders are not live dead.. is there a way to update them or they get done automaticaly i mean since there is no firmware update how do we update them

Am using TM 6900 HD

You mean transponders from your TM menu? If so, personally, I just do a blind scan now and then as TPs change sometimes. Otherwise you can add new TPs manually from the Satellite Setup menu->Advanced Search (might be different for the 6900, as I have a 5403).
