Dead box

I seem to have a dead box. I have the red LED lit up but nothing on the display when powered on.

Is there a manual way to reset the box to factory default settings/hard reset?

original or clone box? did you try to reflash it?
the power supply is also a possible problem.

its an original box and the power supply does not seem to be the issues since the led is on and this indicates power

may be there is a problem with the power supply and despite the fact that the led lights, the receiver can't boot.
in the past a friend had the same problem, and he solved it by replacing those three capacitive capacitors (thanks friend @gkpapad for the photo)

Its the c807 cap at the side of the hdd thats gone mate ive done 3 of these all fixed by replacing it.

Turn it off now till you have replaced it or you could damage the voltage regulators.
