Have been reading and reading and trying to make sense of things but it just isnt happening much.

Anyway i want to set up the ipbox 900 with an image that is good with cccam that is easy to use and set up. (i dont think the word easy goes with this box)

After my studies of this site i came to the conclusion of pgi v0.6 which already has oscam installed.

now the image is no longer available. Google could not do much better either a lot of foreign forums the ones i could make sense of were all linking back to the same link as this site.

any one have it.

a friend of mine has done me the oscam files. so hopefully it would be just getting the image and flashing it and copying these files into the relevant section, am i correct.

try pgi 0.7 or 7.2 in the dl sec' copy the files and setup oscam to start first [def]and you'r set ...

i will give that image a go tomorrow afternoon, will setting up oscam first be done by editing a config file or via menu.

not sure on how to do it if done via a config file.

anyone kno0w how to start oscam oin pgi v07
have installed it and dtransferred over the files var\etc\oscam but no joy
cant find oscam on the menu either

Hi, try to install SIFteam in flash & PKT 0.99(tideglo)in usb stick, use this procedure from Katapip on Sifteam board

I have tested personally with my ipbox900hd and others people test on ipbox9000 with or without hard disk.
I don't have tested with 910 and 91hd but i think that it must works
This scripts work with
usb 1gb only if you have hard disk installed
usb 2gb all scripts works with or without hard disk installed
WORKING also with 8GB
Put all files in var/bin with chmod755
and var/uninstall with chmod755

scrplg-Formatta_USB_Con_Hdd.sh ---------Format usb on your decoder with hard disk installed on your box
scrplg-Formatta_USB_Senza_Hdd.sh---------Format usb on your decoder without hard disk installed on your box
scrplg-Installa_E2.sh -----------Script to install E2 after usb storage format will finish


Start your stb with dgs sifteam flash firmware without insert usb storage.When stb start put usb key and wait that firmware automount it
Now open SifTeam panel with green button---repeat green and select one of two scripts (format with hard disk - Format without hard disk).Wait until script process go to the end
Copy your e2 tar.gz firmware into /mnt/usb and start with sifteam script panel "scrplg-Installa_E2.sh" and wait that e2 unpack and sync your e2 release into usb
Now you are ready to boot your e2 firmware.
Reboot stb and select multiboot option to start e2 from usb storage

1-download an sifteam DGS based img for 900
2- copy on usb & install, boot,
3- with FTP put these scripts http://rapidshare.com/files/419413459/ISO-8859-1__Istalla_E2_2.rar.html

Assuming the Sif img is working...

4- insert usb stick
5- with 2X green button choose the Formatta usb with or without HDD depending of your stb..after few mn finish is displayed on screen
6- with FTP copy the img E2 in mnt/usb directory (you should also see lost & find file in usb)
7- launch the install script & wait few mn & finish displayed.
DON`T REMOVE THE USB stick
8- power off/on & press 5 on your remote at start booting, multiboot5 appear on display
9- wait the booting & configure the box
10- press addons & download the oscam or other

hi i dont want to multiboot or anything just need a basic setup that will work,

right i have managed to get a sifteam image on i installed oscam_stapi through webif.

it works but it takes a while to clear the channels about 10 seconds and then there is slight glitching

but atleast i have a picture which is good.

i have been advised to install oscam-dvapi but am having no look as it is not coming up in the cam menu.

any ideas

right i have managed to get it up and running.

i scrapped the dgs images as for a beginner i was struggling. went for aaf summer image, donwloaded OSCAM put in oscam files in relevant section and it worked.

been at it for a few days, dont know where i was going wrong.

will try a dgs image when i haave more time, but preferred the e2 image where i could just press a button an download the cams.
