CTC Media widens reach

CTC Media and the Philips TV manufacturing company have announced the launch of CTC, Domashny and Peretz and Videomore apps on Philips smart TVs, with all video content being made available through Videomore.ru.
Philips smart TVs provides viewers with a catch up service for content on CTC Media’s channels, as well as the entire Videomore.ru archive.
The latter contains a selection of the company’s series, including previously unaired content and programmes from other rights holders.
The recently launched Videomore app meanwhile offers new and archive content from Ren TV and Channel 5 in addition to existing CTC Media content.
In total, viewers are now able to access more than 13,000 videos.
CTC Media is backed by MTG and operates the CTC, Domashny and Peretz channels in Russia. It also has an international channel and a presence in Kazakhstan and Moldova.
