CTC Media completes LG project

The Russian commercial broadcaster CTC Media has announced the successful completion of a joint project with LG Electronics.
Thanks to it, widgets for the proprietary channels Domashny and Peretz are now available on the latter’s smart TV, with video content for the widgets supplied by the VideoMore.ru portal.
A widget for the flagship channel CTC has been available on LG smart TVs since July 2011 and it is currently used by a third of all LG smart TV owners in Russia.
CTC, which is backed y Modern Times Group (MTG), says it plans to cooperate with other leading TV manufacturers in the future.
