CSA RAINBOW TABLE TOOL V1.23 help

I am a newbie to this rainbow table stuff. Looking for a push in right direction. Downloaded CSA_B8hx00h_1000h_00000000h_FFFFFFFFh.rbt2 and trying to use CSA RAINBOW TABLE TOOL V1.23. It finds the crypt8 ok but when I try to find CW, I get:


Search CW Start
RBT file: I:\RBT\CSA_B8hx00h_10000h.rbt
ERROR: Can't open file "I:\RBT\CSA_B8hx00h_10000h.rbt"


What am I doing wrong?

You need all the tables too, not just the rbt2 file. Check the tables thread or colibri site for the table download links. It’s a couple hundred gigabytes. Use Jdownloader and let it run overnight.

@montana16 you've downloaded a .rbt2 file, so you *must* use the CSA RBT Tool v2 with that.

That table is incompatible with v1.23 (different chain length, different table structure).

I have version 2.05. I tried that and it gets same crypt8 on same ts file but it never finds CW. I do not get error though. I will have to get much more disk space and find a much bigger connection as this table took 2 weeks to download (overnights only.) Thanks for info.

Coverage is around 83% on V2 so maybe you were unlucky. This B8hx00h C8: FF 52 72 CD 77 CD 78 F9 *is* in the V2 table, try looking that up.
