How does the constant cw work?

others here can probably give a full (better) explaination...but a simple definition of Control Words:

At the end of the decoding process between receiver, encryption system (Viaccess encryption is CAID 0500, thats what CAID 0500 means - there are lists of the different Condition Access IDents already on the forum in this section/CCAM section etc) and card a Direct Control Word is received to decode the signal.

DCW's (Direct Control Words) usually change at least once every two minutes.....when the same Direct Control Word is used for longer it is reffered to as a Constant Control Word...these can stay the same for minutes, days, weeks and very occasionally longer.

So if something is opened via Control Words then it is only temporarily opened and not a 'hack' as such so dont expect last for long.....

hope this answers your query....

....if not and your trying to work out how to use them on your kit then tell us what kit you have.....better still tell us in that particular receiver, cam etc "chat" section! :)
