Comedy Central Extra debuts on Ziggo

Comedy Central Extra is the third Comedy Central channel in the Netherlands, making its debut on the Ziggo cable network on November 1.
Viacom already has Comedy Central and Comedy Central Family, but it seems there is enough appite for comedy programming amongst Dutch viewers to justify a third channel.
The new channel will focus on current affairs with Jon Stewart’s The Daily Show and Stephan Colbert’s The Colbert Report. There will also be animation with the new series Ugly Americans.
Stand-up comedy shows will also be a main feature of the new channel.
