• Discussion in the Admin room about nightly images, we dont really need or want these posting for the following reasons.

    1. We all know where to get them.
    2. Never have a change log.
    3. The changes if any are not worthy of anyone upgrading there boxes on a daily basis.
    4. They clutter the forum up.

    Posts will be removed.

Somebody knows the answer to solve the problem of red light
ClouD the iBox?

tks

You will need to reflash your box.
You need prepare a blank USB stick, and read carefully on 1st point below, you will need to download new image file if you
don't already have.

1. Extract the file, and copy the whole folder "vuplus" include all subfolder and files to the root of usb stick.
( inside the vuplus, there is a subfolder "solo" and inside that subfolder there are three files "root_cfe_auto.jffs2" ,"kernel_cfe_auto.bin" and "boot_cfe_auto.jffs2")

2. Power off the cloud ibox

3. Insert the USB stick (with complete "vuplus" folder on the root)

4. Power on the cloud ibox, it will automatically read the files from USB stick and USB stick will blink in blue light

5. wait until the upgrading is completed (Do not power off the cloud ibox during upgrading, do not pull out the usb stick when it blinks)

6. After upgrading is finished, power off the cloud ibox, and remove the USB stick

7. reboot Cloud ibox satellite receiver

all the answers are on the forum if you search.other people have had the same problem when they have done an online update or flashed the latest images, the only fix is to reflash an earlier image.
