I have a new CT HD4100 Plus receiver with original S/W Version 1.22 (JUN 19 2014). It is DVR-Ready. Red record button is dead. Is there a way to activate the DVR-recorder function or do I need to install p- software? I used a USB-stick NTFS formatted on my computer as there was no "external disk format" feature available in the menu.

Discussion in the Admin room about nightly images, we dont really need or want these posting for the following reasons.
1. We all know where to get them.
2. Never have a change log.
3. The changes if any are not worthy of anyone upgrading there boxes on a daily basis.
4. They clutter the forum up.
