Channel 4 grows VOD viewing

The amount of video on demand viewing to Channel 4 programmes increased further during September, with 33 million long form VOD views across all platforms. This represents an increase of two million on August.
The data is derived from all 4oD platforms; Channel4.com, YouTube, SeeSaw, iOS, Playstation, BT Vision, Virgin Media, and Talk Talk.
In the year to date long form VOD views now stand at 308m for 2011 so far, a rise of 19.3% year on year.
The most popular programme is the teen drama Hollyoaks with 2.3 million views.
4oD on Channel4.com, the main 4oD platform, attracted 3.9 million average monthly unique viewers – an increase of 300,000 on August’s monthly total.
