Cccam with Softcam.Key

Hi All,

This has probably been answered before but i am struggling to find the answer

I am using cccam.cfg and having to update the constant.cw with new keys, however when I browse this forum I see most the keys are in softcam.Key format.

Is there any way I can just use softcam.key for all my BISS key updates as updating constant.cw seems more difficult in terms of finding updates.

When you use CCcam, then the BISS keys are in the constant.cw file.

Only when you use MgCamd, then the BISS keys are in the SoftCam.Key file.

does it need it be in the 2600:00000... format or can I paste it in as the F 00711FFF.. format

I ask as most keys on the forum as in the later format

The format for CCcam is normaly:

2600:000000:SIDMT:1FFF::BISS Key

How do I insert nagra keys and format for cccam, i assume the location is not in softcam.key. i have been looking for a location for some time now

Thanks all so I guess SoftCam.Key is useless to a Cccam user like myself then?

nono not useless!

only useless for CCW and Biss keys!

but softcam is needed for all the rest of the keys (nagra,seca,crypto and so on)

Sorry for reopen this but I'm on dead end.

I got the keys in this format:
N 00003811 00 XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX;NET

But I don't know how to configure the cccam or mgcamd to use this.

Can you guys help me with this?
