For those Merlin users of you, still using VideoDB 2.1 for Merlin 3:

Merlin 3 VideoDB - NEW VERSION 2.6 is out (for three days, already). :)

Version 2.1 can be updated from Merlin feed to version 2.6 r0.
Newer version 2.6 r1 (with little bugfix) can be downloaded from Merlin board.


Why I don´t post it here?
I don´t want people with different firmware than Merlin to have problems, because they installed this plugin on a wrong firmware. ;)


What is new?

- Bugfixes
- display movie collections automatically if activated in settings
- recognition of 3D movies by filename (according to your settings)
... "movietitle (3D)" gets displayed, then (you need to rescan your 3D movies for this)
- new style "simple" (without pictures/wallpapers) available
- PLAYLISTS
create own playlists (with option autofill = true/false)
three predefined playlists: recently added, unseen and show collections

Because that's not a file.
I made a copy paste, dreate e new file and .... crash...


So i have to wait, because i don't know other epg for 2 or 3 sat.

I´m not certain, what @fn1107 really suggested with his posting at IHAD.

I tried the link and you´re right that it´s not a file.
(But maybe it´s the content of a text file?)

The link´s name is s.th. like

(Perhaps the text is the necessary content of file rytec_update.py?)

You could perhaps try the following:

Click the link https://github.com/oe-alliance/e2openplu...rytec_update.py
Copy the text from there.
Open an empty new file in a linux compatible editor (e.g. in free notepad+)
Paste the text from link above inside the empty new file.
Save the file and name it rytec_update.py

Copy file rytec_update.py to
/usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/SystemPlugins/CrossEPG/

give file rights 755
restart your box.

Maybe that works?
(I´m only guessing)

Had a look at the text once more.
Maybe it contains some "comments" which need a # at the beginning of a new line in order to not get interpreted as commands?
(But that´s guesswork again.)

Hope you don´t have to wait too long for a solution.

Copy file rytec_update.py to
to: /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/SystemPlugins/CrossEPG/

Restart the Box, than works. ;)

Sorry friend, can´t give real instruction.

Never used OpenATV; VU+ or keys - only softcam cccam, scam and oscam and after cancelling my pay-tv subscription few months ago, I don´t even use softcam at all any more.

If you google for Camcenter OpentATV you´ll find camcenter + cccam.
(OpenATV Softcam Feed Mipsel und CCcam2.3.0)

First install Camcenter (*.ipk file) and after reboot you can install softcam with it.
Keys - no idea.

I could explain better for dreambox + dreamOS, but not for OpenATV/VU+.
I couldn´t find the necessary stuff here at SU. Would have attached it. It may probably exist, but it´s well hidden. :rolleyes:
