Cant watch recorded files on PC

I recorded video files from my dm800 in USB stick Why I cant watch them in PC, it asks for formating ?!

leave the stick in your DM
install or start Samba on your dreambox

on your pc browse to

\\your.dreambox.ip.address\

and transfer the .ts file over network or open it there

All i do is ftp in to media/usb/movies and take the files from there to my desktop and watch them with VLC.
