Can't get the cuberevo 3000hd to see the card slot

Running E2 Sifteam image, loaded MGCamD and will not read a viaccess card in card slot. Is there anything i need to do manually in the config files?

Also as a matter of interest, I can't get my Viaccess CAM to work in either slot, the box sees it and reads the card, but there is no decription. Any ideas please.

mgcamd cant read your card, you will need a cardserver like newcs or oscam. Oscam also can be used to watch channels also (with DVB-API).
So, my advice is to try with oscam. (you must edit oscam.conf to add internal reader)

OK thanks arken, will have a go at that, I'm used to setting up my Dreambox and MGCamD works fine with the viaccess card, it's a bit of a learning curve with this receiver.

Even on your dreambox mgcamd works in combination with some kind of cardserver (newcs, mpcs, oscam, gbox...) Mgcamd is pure emulator and cant read physical cards.
Check oscam section for examples how to configure it for your card, oscam is the most developed and feature rich emulator right now...
