Canal + wins football rights

Canal+ Group has secured the rights to international football matches for over 30 national teams including Portugal, Croatia, Serbia, Czech Republic and Greece for the next two seasons.
The matches, which will be carried by FOOT+, include home games, friendlies and qualifiers for the 2014 World Cup.
They will supplement the new FOOT+ offer, which gives subscribers access to over 700 European and international matches each season.
FOOT+ is available on TVs, PCs, Macs and Xbox 360 for subscribers to Canal+ and/or Canalsat, via satellite, ADSL and cable for €5 a month per season.
Matches can also be watched on an individual basis for €10 or for €12 over a day.
Canal+ has also launched an application called Canal Football App that is available solely for FOOT+ subscribers and allows them to view the service on tablets.
