I am unsure sure what you are doing with scp log, if you put the boxes ip address into a laptop or desktop that is on the same network can you get into any of the boxes web if. From the box can you go into the plugins menu and are there an option to download any plugins. This would show you are connected to the internet.

Yes, you have to see the IP address from VU+ in the Network settings on your box and enter it in scp or any other FTP app like filezilla, TC...
If your DHCP is disabled, then you will always have the same address, and if it is enabled, then there is a high probability that after every restart or new start of the network adapter, that address will be different.
So you have to see what the address is on the VU+ duo and enter that address in scp and then try to connect

Ok so image depending you can download cccam from the plugins menu. Press menu, plugins, then green button then go into the options for softcams. Download which ever version of the softcam you require. This will depend on what image you are using. Once you have installed cccam onto your box you then need access to the cccam.cfg. there maybe a way via the remote and plugins if you can find a file browser or file commander. You could then put your c line into the cccam.cfg in var/tuxbox/config. or usr/keys. If you need to get ftp working then i would suggest you use dream box control centre.

One problem you may be facing when trying ftp software is that you have not set a password on your box. If you can get telnet to work then in telnet type "passwd" this will let you change the password and give you ftp access to your box.
