can one pv receiver support all

hello to the good members of this great forum.
this is to ask if one of the pv official receiver from any of the pv group support all pv packages from others pv around the world, like I have sony pv stb can it work with discovery group?

Not sure powervu uses any IRD from Sony.

But to make it clear : given is a true PV receiver,would only be able to work in the trasponder it is authorized for.
The IRD number and the embedded keys inside the chip won't let you watch any other than what is authorized for.
