I guess blocking these is in responce to some teams converting the Blackhole images to work on dreamboxes.

Pitty the TSpanel is good support for their image, i guess thats what happens when you go from a hobby group to a been paid help for by a manufacturer.

With BlackPole image, the cams are the same as Blackhole ie.
/usr/camscript/script in the form NCam_Oscam_CCcam.sh
/usr/bin/oscam
/usr/bin/cccam
/var/etc/cccam.cfg
/var/etc/tuxbox/config/oscam.conf
/var/etc/tuxbox/config/oscam.server
/var/etc/tuxbox/config/oscam.user

Obviously change the cam to whatever you wish, you dont have to use oscam and cccam.
Just ftp the files to the VU+ and dont forget to change attributes for the bin and camscript files.

amigo if you had checked this out,you had noted that tuxbox-folder have a new location in Black pole image!

if you only copy files to tuxbox-folder it wont work without activated "search for configs" function in oscam,or doing the right symlink in the image!(or create new tuxbox-folder at the old place)

I assume you are referring to my post. Tuxbox is in the location I have posted, but there are shortcuts to it from other locations.

Are there any extra requirements for installing cams on BlackPole as compared to the Blackhole images? I've tried both 0.1.2 and 0.1.3 recently and same scenario. The JSC Irdeto card in my top slot is showing as clearing and reading from that card slot but no picture or sound. The Cyfra card in the bottom slot works fine. I tried both methods - by installing Oscam 6306+CCCam 2.13 BH.TGZ file from the Blackhole section here and by installing TSPanel and installing Oscam+CCCam from there. Then I put my cccam.cfg in var/etc and the oscam config files in var/etc/tuxbox/config folder which was created automatically when installing from the BH.TGZ file.

The same method works perfectly on the BlackHole images and both cards read fine. Gone back to BlackHole for now but would like to use BlackPole if I can sort that issue out. BTW this is the VU+ Ultimo version I'm referring to but I would expect installing CAMS is just the same.

have you had a look at webif oscam???
oscam running??

because tuxbox folder is at another place at black pole!
not same place as in BH image!

you need a extra symlink to fix that,or you create folders at the "normal"place!
but for me the betterversion is to set the symlink!
because 2 tuxbox files in one image cant be helpfull!

All the files are in the same place as jimdefruit says, all you have to do is edit the camscript to tell the emu where your config files are.
CCcam
-C <configfile> use <configfile> instead of default (/etc/CCcam.cfg)

/usr/bin/CCcam_2.30 -c /etc/CCcam.cfg >/dev/null &

Oscam
-C <configfile> use <configfile> instead of default (/etc/tuxbox/config)

/usr/bin/oscam -c /etc/tuxbox/config >/dev/null &
