From a mathematical point of view I don't understand how one find a new key ?

Shall one record a ts and try all 01 kex to see if one magically works ?
After all if I count right there is "only" 256^16=3.4*10^38 possibilities... so if a big computer can try 1000 keys per second without luck we could have the "right" one in about 10^28 years...

Could anyone share some lights on a better way to find keys to decrypt channels ?
Is there somewhere the decrypt alorithm for nagra to be found ?

Hi,

I'm not really sure that this here is the right place for my concerns. If isn't so please move my request to right thread. Can someone give me an list with all channel that I can received in Basel (UPC Cablecom). Then me Dreambox C 800 HD will found only few of possible channels. An XML file would be very nice.

Hi Delux,
the receivable upc cablecom channels should be visible on their page. Not as an xml though. I dont have an XML either sorry.
You should be able to get one with which you can work from in the dreambox forums. There is always someone who shares his bouquet list.

Thanks for your answer. I know that cablecom has visibled the channels on their homepage. But I need a list with the channels (frequenz, transponder, etc.). But you have right I will post this in the Dreambox forums.

hi , can someone send me the cable.xml for NE please, after a full scan still missing channels with VTi which on Open Pli they do not , thats wierd
