Do not panic.
There is no evidence that Nagra 3 is on the way.
That so called 'safe source' comes from the forum where there are guys trying to make the most out of keys.
If there was some change Cablecom users where the first to know and till this date nothing comes out.
The keys, as usual, are already out but for some sordid reason the guy that usually posts them is holding them back.
Wait and see, it will come out as the 'hero' who as keys.
Been there, done that, it is the Nagra 2 SAT story all over again...

You mean to act as a server, to be a 'reading' node you don't need nothing, just a friends line.

N3 means that the card and the receiver are "bundled" (the card only works with a specific device and the other way around to; CI+ makes the same thing)! Without the device key you won't be able to make the card working no a "non UPC" receiver.
So, who do you make a UPC device to act as a server? software? (i always thought, that you will have to use a NON UPC device (Linux/UnixWin/OSX) to be able to "card sharing"?)

Ah, sorry, my mistake. Not understood exactly what you meant.
But yes, you are right.
To make a CS Server you could use a DM800HD or other thing like it but you need BK, IRD and RSA (I think that is all).
I never tried to make such server but I know that they are already numerous solutions working in Switzerland.
Just not useful because you still can get keys and in Nagra 2.
That will be the next business. You will see.

Like you all I am waiting for the keys...
What I can not understand is the business behind all this, the purpose of concealing the keys from people.
I am sure, for what I understand and read, that the keys are already out, just not public.
Why?
