the problem is that the community is not as big as it was before. N2 is stone-age technology! The world outside Switzerland is occupied by hacking n3. that's why we probably have to wait a little longer.....

And i' am not using a dbox, and i still watch digital, i PAY for it! But my Minimac is way better than ANY Box on the market ;)

A hope a solution is found for guys like you (and those who really can't afford - students etc, lol). I pay for a Sky UK Satellite Subscription in the UK, and the pictures were always better from my Topfield TF4000 than the Official Sky Digibox - ever since Sky issued new cards late last year and changed from N*D*S/Videoguard CAID 0961 to CAID 0963, I've had to use my Official Box as my Dragon CAM used to read my 0961 card directly, now I have to read the 0963 card in my CAS Interface throu my PC and my PC just isn't fact enough (couple of mili-seconds gap between ECM/EMMs and Control Words causing a noticable blip on the screen every 7 seconds :().....That's what this hobby is about choice, being able to use your own equipment, looking a raw feeds, at different channels covering same events etc etc. It is not about getting TV for free (thats illegal) and all those moaning about losing tv they don't pay for should shut up (if a solution is found it will be posted - we are not going to keep keys hidden! - so moaning about it isn't going to do anything).....but I hope a solution is found for guys like you my friend.

Just my view (not necessarily SU's official view).....rant over!!! :D :thum:

It wasnt my intention to moan (eventhough it maybe sounded like that) I have accepted the facts that I cannot afford the channels I want because a confort package here in switzerland include only local channels which are almost all in french :(((((( and on the packages that cost like 5 channels canal+ and , cinema channels you can change the language to original (english) ... Canal+ is 55 and cinema is 30 so together with the box its 105 SFr a month ... AND you have to be a resident in switzerland to be able to sign the contract .... otherwise forget it .... we students can forget it in other words...

And I forgot to say Cablecom has as far as I know switched to N2 and people are saying they use something called A07 cards in their boxes ... I am sorry but thats all I (think) I know :)
Something about two masterkeys is mentioned as well .....

I think you talking 2007 prises. As of today you pay CHF40.80 (o.k you can add the CHF 25/mt you pay in your rent of your appartement = CHF 65.80) a month an you get ALL 172 Channels including 18 HDTV-Channels. You don't get TC and the international language packages.

And you sure that you have to be a resident to by a DigiCard?

You guys are tottaly right. So actually it looks like they just changed the key. They didn't changed any hardware pieces to the paying customers.

I was really talking current prices, excluding standard fees for analogue tv of course. So the 30 bucks is really just for the digital channels (currently available even at half price for the first year).

I know we have Rom110 Cards, Version A07; there is a way to dump A05 and extract the key from there, AFAIK, but not for the current ones, unfortunately. I'll have to dig up sone stuff, because my last attempts were mainly to get the box key out of the CC Box, and not the key out of the card. Guess I'll have to read some spanish again to get any information at all... ;-)
