I dug out my old 800hd and updated the image which was
ramimaher v.2-dm800-76d (don't why, just messing)

The box was working fine prior to update, I've tried all methods to cure,used patched dreamups, ncf sim2 etc but nothing works.

I cannot get an I.P. address & I'm not sure what the ssl is now, sim is 2.01 in dreambox 800hd, any help gladly received as I'm starting to pull my hair out.

you will need a null modem cable and the ethernet cable use dreamup maybe 1.3.4 I cant remember connect both leads do not connect the power cable yet, in dreamup click on connect it will now say please switch on, at this point insert he power lead, you will see the progress bar fill up and on the front led it will say serial mode and an ip will come on the led, once you use the ip use that ip to flash it normally through web browser like normal

I've done all that but once flashloader is loaded it just waits for acknowledgement, to overcome this I've used enforcer to highlight the flash button.

After I press press flash it just says calculating checksum and that's it, I've already tried flashing the images which you say are correct but still stuck, any ideas.

can try tools NCF SIM2 v3.0 connect the cable null model and ethernet cable
