i am thinking of getting a new reciever, have decided on cuberevo twin/ipbox 9000hd, question how do they work straight out of the box or are they better hook up to lan connection,i have no insight in linux based recievers, my reciever at the moment is echostar 3600 with trex super and diablo 2.3, would there be any benefits to having a linux reciever,some pointers as am new to this.thanks

they would work straight out of the box but i would flash a sifteam or nlb image to them myself also they would be better of connected to lan as it makes it easier to download plugins watch web tv via pc or laptop and makes it easier to update,also you could multiboot to use one of the enigma 2 images for them aswell as the flash image
