Bouygues gets the total N.DS package

N.DS has announced it has be selected by the French operator Bouyges Telecom to support the deployment of its next generation IPTV set-top.
In addition to STB integration services for the new Bbox, N.DS will also provide so-called professional services, including integration consultancy and critical software components.
These include a graphical engine to power an enhanced user experience with HD and 3D capability and an application manager engine to enable the development and management of a series of new apps based on HTML5 and Flash.
Yves Caseau, executive vice president technologies, services & innovation, Bouygues Telecom, said: “We are exceptionally proud of our new platform – and more so in the collaborative nature of the development process. We were very selective in the partners that we chose for this project, and with their extensive track record of innovation and integration expertise, *** is the perfect choice to support us in creating a TV experience that will greatly satisfy the needs of our subscribers.”
N.DS is already well established in France through long standing relationships with Canal+ and SFR.
