Mar de Plástico (Plastic Sea), Boomerang TV's new series for Spain's Atresmedia, has been selected as one of the most outstanding international fiction series by French agency The Wit.

The new thriller drew nearly five million (4,966,000) viewers, reaching a 29.2% share during its multichannel debut on Atresmedia's free-to-air (FTA) networks Antena 3, Neox, Nova and Mega.
With a cast headed by Rodolfo Sancho, Belén López, Pedro Casablanca and Jesús Castro, the series was shot in Southern Spain.
This is not the first time The WIT has highlighted a Boomerang TV series, as The Time in Between was also featured in the list of Fresh TV Fiction at MIPCOM 2013.
