BIG QUESTION DB500 vs Humax5400z

Hi every experts ,

I have a dreambox 500 and an Humax 5400z but no tps on humax.

it's possible to connect Dreambox 500 (card sharing Evocamd or Tps AU Mgcamd 1.24) and an old humax 5400z (using SSSp or Hsic) with rs232 cable??
I read something like that in a german board but not really understanding.

D500 & Humax

Its possible if you have a router and a PC. You can run gbox on the PC with a serial cable connected to your humax. The DM would be set up as the server and the Humax as a peer.
