Not that I have seen, only Unicable I.

If you want Unicable II with 3 Legacy, then I use the Dur-line UK 124-3L, which has 24 Unicable II and 3 Legacy.

It out performs my old Inverto IDLU-32UL40-UNBOO-OPP
It's very hard to find anywhere in the UK, so I had to place an order in Europe. Excited for it's arrival.

@cokeaddict ...what make/brand of splitter would you recommend? I want to get one that is at least
8+.

If I have understood unicable correctly, then if I split the single cable into say 10 other cables via a
splitter, then the first 8 cables would be aligned with the first 8 channels? Does the splitter assign
the channels or are they assigned from the configuration of each receiver?

I got mine from the uk rain forest site, but seems it's out of stock now.

For splitters, currently I am using 2x 8 way, and 2x 6 way in a daisy chain, different brands I think some are Antiference and some are SAC.

Lnb out - 8 way splitter - 7 tuners + 1 8 way splitter to 7 tuner + 1 6 way splitter to 5 tuners + 1 6 way splitter.

You have to configure the tuners on the boxes, changing the user bands, so 1st tuner = userband 1, 2nd tuner userband 2 etc etc.

If you have a box with fbc tuners, then you only need 1 feed into the tuner and it will run all 8 demodulators (tuners) from that single feed, so on my Ultimo4K with 2x fbc tuners, I could just use 1 feed to each tuner and that can use 16 (8 per tuner) of the 24 userbands from the Unicable II side of the lnb.

Keep in mind that every splitter will reduce the signal a little.

Mine is only in a daisy chain like that, as i've added extra splitters along the way and couldn't be bothered to pull it all apart and redo it (far too many wires behind my units).

But if I was to do it clean now, I would connect all 3 splitters to the 1st 8 way, rather than daisy chain them.

I assume your setup works fine with your Enigma boxes ( Gigablue, others).
May I ask if you have been able to connect one of the post split cables to any of your Viarks without issue?

I have yes, and its working fine with any box in my signature. Just make sure the frequencies used are different across the boxes.

Hi @Ferret and @cokeaddict ,

When setting up a Unicable I or II lnb for the first time on an offset dish, if I connect my cable to the Unicable port
and my Sat Meter, will it display the signal strength readings just like a normal universal lnb would when trying to
point to a specific satellite?

EG: I want to point the Unicable LNB I have ordered towards Thor 1W. I have ordered the Inverto Unicable II with only a single
unicable output and no legacy ports. So I am hoping that when I point to 1W, the signals will still come up on the meter just
like it does when I mount a normal Inverto Black Ultra Universal LNB.

Can you confirm that this should be ok?

It will depend on if your sat meter supports unicable
I have a SatLink WS-6906 bought from online auction site.

It only provides three options for LNB type. In each case the meter allows me to
set the frequency range and voltage.

1. Universal
2. Standard
3. User defined

I wonder if it is possible to use the "User defined" and change the settings to match
what a Unicable requires?

I guess I have to find out what a typical Unicable II lnb uses as its frequency range and voltage settings?

Here is an idea to keep it simple do your alignment with a basic universal.

Or use your UE with the unicable and use the signalmeter app on your phone.

That app displays the reading the receiver is getting works over wifi.

Interesting @Ferret thanks for that.

I'll look for the signalmeter app and download it. Hopefully it is available for free.
